In 2015, Yehuda received a request from the World Rotary Organization to assist in the rehabilitation of two Ukrainian soldiers who had lost their foot during their military service.
During the conversation with the Rotary, Yehuda realized that the rehabilitation system in Ukraine was inefficient and that the knowledge of rehabilitation was very poor; so Yehuda decided to join the project and to travel to the city of Odessa, located in Ukraine. The goal of the project was to provide technicians, physiotherapists and doctors with a short seminar on the proper construction of prosthetics, while giving a significant emphasize to selecting and fitting parts for the construction of the prosthesis.
During the seminar, Yehuda built two prostheses for the two soldiers and gave a seminar on the subject of amputations and new technologies that exist in the market today. The seminar was accompanied by the local media and included an interview with Yehuda on Odessa's main television channel.
