Seminar in Peru

In the course of Yehuda's work around the world and his contribution to the Haiti project, in November 2010, Yehuda was asked by the Foreign Ministry to fly to Peru to provide consultation for the construction of a rehabilitation system in a local hospital, specifically in the field of prostheses.

As part of the consulting project, Yehuda decided to hold a seminar for local technicians, doctors and physiotherapists on technologies and techniques for building prostheses.

During the seminar, Yehuda built three prostheses for three local residents in collaboration with the local team, with an emphasis on choosing the right prosthesis and fitting the parts according to the needs of the patient.

During the matching of the prostheses, a very moving event was recorded, leaving all present individuals gaping.

The two amputees, who wore the prosthesis and did not know each other before, started dancing with each other, filled with joy.

This exciting event emphasized the importance and great significance of the process of matching the prosthesis to the patient, with an emphasis on selecting the right ingredients for building the prosthesis and getting the patient go back to their independent life routine.

This seminar was a tremendous success and was accompanied by means of communication and media.
